Post & Auxiliary News..... TAPS.....
All members please keep in mind that: The Auxiliary Chaplain must be notified of all deaths of the membership, grandparents, parents, siblings, spouse and children. It is the Auxiliary Chaplain who orders flowers or designates the correct donation, sends cards, and arranges requested dinners. Ladies Auxiliary Chaplain Chaplain, Jaci Southerland Post Member Reuben Senter passed away on Nov. 28th. A sympathy card was sent to his family. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory was made to Hospice at Brian’s House in Davison.Post Life Member John Raymor passed away on Dec. 2nd. A sympathy card was sent to his family. A funeral dinner was provided for his family on Dec. 10th. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory was made to the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC.Post Life Member Thomas H. Townsend passed away on Dec. 4th. A sympathy card was sent to his wife & family. A funeral dinner was provided for his family on Dec. 8th. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory was made to the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC.Post Life Member Bradley J. Allen passed away on Dec. 5 in Venice, FL. A sympathy card was sent to his family. Funeral services were conducted on Dec. 11, 2009. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory will be made later.Post Life Member William G. Wray passed away on Dec. 15th. A sympathy card was sent to his family. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory was made to Parkinson’s Research.Post Member Jeffrey Spillers passed away on Dec. 15th. A sympathy card was sent to his family. In lieu of flowers, a Donation in Memory will be made later.A funeral dinner was provided on Dec.19th for the family of Clare W. Cooper, a non-member veteran. We have been blessed with a Post and Auxiliary who will bake, shop, carry in food, cook, prepare, serve and clean up.
